A vastness. The blue sky early morning, wisps of white clouds. quiet magnitude.
It feels vintage, like an old slideshow reel of the sky. of the light blue sky.
We follow something unseen in the frame.
A presence. Maybe a bird? Maybe not.

NELL (V.O.)

“is it true that the mode of a skylark is one of tenor? a presence boon of wide spaces and clear mornings. a quiet colourfirst, melodic kind of miracle? not rare in number but rare in gesture. steady. is he such that an empty sky fills with presence at his flux, wordless in the sprouted dawn.
a creature living whose beauty is not worn but revealed by the shape of his silence.

The frame pans, imprecise, intuitive, as if scanning.
It Jolts to a stop, as if something has been found. then shifts again
Sporadic movements., jilting, smooth.
Something eludes the camera.

We stagger with it, losing and gaining altitude, but always sky bound.
We chase what we feel, but can not see. elusive. close.
feels like hope.
